Together they make up a team that has almost 100 years of combined experience in piano soundboard manufacturing. Northwest Specialty Woods manufacturing expertise goes back to the day of the Posey Manufacturing Company which manufactured Sitka Spruce soundboards from the late 19th century and throughout the 20th century as well. Although the Posey Manufacturing Company has closed its doors, Posey employees working at N.W. Specialty Woods have continued the tradition of quality and craftsmanship that made Posey the leader in high-grade Sitka Spruce Soundboards.
